How to join a voluntary service project abroad!

Would you like to join a workcamp or a mid – long term voluntary service abroad?
Would you like to travel and meet new friends while contributing to your society?

Nataté can send you in one of the several workcamps our international partners organise each year all over the world!

The procedure is easy, just follow the next steps:

  • Fill in the application form you find in the left menu.
  • Send it via email to
  • Wait for an answer from us.
  • Pay the deposit in order to book your placement (the deposit is half of the final participation fee).
  • Keep in touch with our program director.
  • Once your request is confirmed and you know you are accepted, pay the remaining part of the participation fee to Nataté and buy your flight (we will provide information on where to fly).
  • Take part in the preparation course we organise before the workcamp (compulsory).
  • Read very carefully the information sheet about your workcamp we will send you at least 4 weeks before the activities start.
  • Get ready... and enjoy the experience!

The participation fee for the first workcamp abroad is $ 1500,00 (Mexican Pesos) while for the first workcamp in Mexico is $ 800,00 (Mexican Pesos).

It includes:

  • Administration fee and placement procedure.
  • Preparation course before departure.
  • Detailed information about the project and its location (including travel instructions).
  • Advices and guidance during the all procedure.
  • Evaluation after the workcamp.
  • Information about all Nataté activities before and after the activity (for one year).

It does not include:

  • Flight ticket and/or travel costs
  • Traveller insurance
  • Cancellation insurance (once you are accepted Nataté will not refund the participation fee you paid upon confirmation)
  • Extra expenses you may face during your trip

The organisers of the workcamp will guarantee:

  • The board and lodging during the all project
  • The working material and tools

Please note that:

  • 1. You will need to pay the participation fee within 48 hours after the confirmation of your placement. Nataté will cancel your placement in case you do not comply with this requirement.
  • 2. You will receive information about your travel arrangements only after confirmation of your payment, while you will receive detailed info about the project, its specific location, what to bring with you, etc at least 4 weeks before the beginning of the activities.
  • 3. You have to buy the plane ticket at least 1 month before the workcamp is due.
  • 4. Nataté is not responsible for the management of the project abroad and cannot refund the participation fee following complaints from your side.
  • 5. Nataté is not responsible for your travel and insurance arrangements. Please take carefully care of them before leaving Mexico.
  • 6. Nataté is not responsible for your travel documents, please make sure your passport and (if needed) visa are ok before your departure.
  • 7. If you join a workcamp in Mexico the payment of an extra fee is required.
